Rule of 34 might indeed need to have a limit.

I have seen all kinds of art, drawings comics etc. of almost every kind of genre and rating and have never been surprised. I have always understood the context of the Rule of 34 but only recently understood how far that rule applies.

Just about every person has seen some from of pornographic image whether intentional or unintentional. So I think its safe to say that when it come to drawn images, whether that be generic or anime based, we all know that we can expect almost anything to appear. But how far can one say is the limit if, involving the rule of 34 is too far?

As a fan of the furry fandom art style I have seen all kinds of rule 34 images, whether it be based off of pokemon, generic anthro animals or video game character etc. Now I have always questioned this rule when it come to child shows, i.e pokemon bugs bunny and even MLP (yes I know I have MLP porn images on my tumblr but bare with me)

My real problem is the age group in the show. Yes, kids 7-up watch all these shows and even some of the shows I watched as a kid have become tarnished with the Rule of 34 but I can deal because, and whether you choose to believe or not, its good art. I like well draw images no matter the context or intended use. The only problem I have is when it move to the elementary age group. S

In my mind, if the image portrays a character that is either inhuman or is based around an age group that is of age or at the age that they are mature enough to understand mature themes, then I have no problem.

But why portray a sexual image of a character, say for instance the Hey Arnold. I mean to me its like having an image of shotacon or lolicon in the anime world. Its one thing to have and image of a character who is at least sexually mature, like Daria, to be in something like that. but come one, elementary school kids doing that, really?

Now all of my ranting involves strictly human characters, I dont care if your a furry and you dont like the “cub” genera but i could care less because its an animal not a person. And as far as shota an loli goes, the only argument against my claim is mostly that its a drawing its not real, and I actually understand this. But I would only as that you keep a really close eye on what you portray in a picture. Because even with the rule of 34 I believe that there is a fine line between erotic and just plain wrong.

As a hardcore Star Wars fan, I have been getting into that animated show on Cartoon network, and this is by far one of the most epic story arcs they could and have possibly made.
